Tyco SimplexGrinnell is often listed as the largest fire protection company in the world. Specializing in active fire protection systems, communication systems and testing, inspection and maintenance services, they have 160 district offices throughout North America.
In 1976, Tyco purchased Grinnell Fire Protection, then bought Simplex Time Recorder Company in 2001. The companies were merged to SimplexGrinnell. It is now Johnson Controls.
Tyco SimplexGrinnell turned to Daniels + Roberts in 2012 for help in abandoning their current product and service marketing paradigm in favor of developing a vertically-integrated solution sales programs for Healthcare, Government, Education, Commercial and Industrials.
We began the engagement with proprietary qualitative customer research in the form of In–Depth-Interviews and used online survey tools for quantitative studies. We directed our inquiries to decisionmakers and key influencers.
D&R’s findings were used to prepare message maps for each of the new business units. Daniels + Roberts produced Client and Industry case studies, white papers, brochures, interactive presentations and the new simplex Grinnell website.
