Decision One

Founded in 1958 as Decision Data Inc., DecisionOne is now the largest independent provider of IT infrastructure services. They’re the leading provider in Transportation, Healthcare, Education, Government, Financial Services and Retail. One of their greatest strengths is the ability to provide customized solutions, or individual services, to best meet a client’s needs.

While their competitors largely rely on short-term contract workers to keep costs down, DecisionOne invests in their employees to offer clients greater consistency and reliability. This message, along with their extensive suite of service and solution offerings, was not being clearly conveyed to customers and prospects.

Daniels + Roberts was brought in to analyze the DecisionOne business model, conduct an industry and competitive analysis, identify and prioritize points of differentiation, and evaluate the brand, its messaging and overall sales and marketing strategy.

D+R recommended repositioning DecisionOne and rolling out an integrated marketing initiative targeting key influencers and decision makers. This effort would “reintroduce” DecisionOne as the largest W-2 workforce of any independent IT services provider in the world.

From their web presence and direct marketing materials to sales support and social marketing, everything was strategized and revamped, leading to a significant increase in brand awareness, lead generation and overall ROI.
